COVID-19 RELIEF

In October 2020, BantuYuk! organized a donation drive for COVID-19 relief in Indonesia. We received a total of IDR 170,483,972 (funds and in kind), which we used to distribute essential supplies and food (sembako) for underprivileged families and provide hazmat protection suits (APD) to hospitals in Indonesia.

The death toll due to the virus is scary, there is no denying that. But what may even be scarier are the thousands of starving children, cradled in the trembling arms of their mothers, uncertain of what awaits them. There are two possible endings to this story. And we can make sure that this ends with a happy ending. Let us lend a helping hand by donating essential supplies and food (sembako), to ensure that less fortunate families are able to cope with this hurdle. That we as a country may stand united amongst this pandemic and overcome it together, as one nation. So Let us help our fellow Indonesians! #Bantuyuk!

Hundreds of doctors and nurses have been infected in the front lines. A significant proportion of them have died as a result of their patriotic efforts. As of now, there have been over 10 000 deaths in Indonesia. If it weren’t for the courageous medical staff working in the front lines, the situation would definitely have deteriorated even more dramatically. Thus, we decided that it is only right for us to provide these heroic medical staff with Hazmat Protection Suits (APD). It is only right for us to do our part in enabling them to ameliorate the pandemic without putting themselves in as much risk.
